What began as a simple header image for a web page became a deeper exploration of the visual representation of concepts my client wanted to convey. In the design briefing, Paul (Hibbits) requested an updated header image for his Open-Source web app called "Docsify-This.net." The messaging was initially going to be part of the overall image, but with the layout options on GitHub, we realized this was unnecessary.

What was necessary was to visually capture these broad concepts simply and visually, which led me to using some simple icons from the Noun Project. You can check out some the icons we discussed along the way in my Hibbits icon kit. I leaned on ChatGPT a bit for selecting the icons, but ultimately the final choice came down to our discussions. I redrew the final artwork by hand so the icons had a more natural and human feel to them. For the backgrounds, I leaned more so on the image generartion capabilities in AI and in particular Photshop (beta) generative fill. I used ChatGPT to come up with the final prompt in Photoshop.

Prompt: Abstract background with flowing, overlapping waves and ripples, dynamic, energetic lines and shapes resembling flames and sparks, and flowing lines and stacked shapes. Light skipping multiple times across the water creates ripples with each skip, harmonizing blues, oranges, reds, yellows, browns, and greens with gradients and transparency effects

These were designed as a series, but I have added them to this page as singles and an updated animation.
